A big thank you to Becca for her beautiful review of her recent wedding at The Olde Bell. We hope you enjoy married life!
We stumbled across The Olde Bell by fluke one weekend when we were out and about in nearby Henley. It is an absolutely stunning building, so full of character and charm, beautifully maintained and so friendly. It now feels like a second home!
We didn’t realise at the time but there is a beautiful, and I mean, BEAUTIFUL barn across the road from The Olde Bell that hosts weddings and functions, and as soon as we stepped in side we knew that we wanted to get married there.
We went ahead to book the venue for our special day, working with The Olde Bell to come up with a bespoke package that suited our needs and our budget, and we were delighted that they could accommodate our wishes.
From the start of our wedding planning the staff at The Olde Bell were approachable and friendly, and I cannot speak highly enough of Rebecca who took over our wedding coordination part way through and who went out of her way to make sure our day was perfect. Answering the million questions and helping out on the day as well.
The Olde Bell holds so much history that you can’t help fall in love with the charm, the food is lovely as well. Even the bar menu doesn’t disappoint.
As the Bride I stayed in 2 different rooms throughout my stay and both rooms were beautifully stunning, open and airy, clean and functional.
Honestly, couldn’t rate The Olde Bell highly enough.
I encourage you to go, even if you go for just a drink and a soak up of the ambiance, but if you are looking for your special venue for your special day, the olde bells tithe barn is truly magical.
