The Olde Bell's recipe for the month of May is our Head Chef's delicious Fish Pie:
For the mashed potatoes
- 1kg/2lb 4oz potatoes, peeled
- 50g/2oz butter
- 6 tbsp warm milk
- pinch salt and white pepper
For the filling
- 500ml/1 pint double cream
- 250g/9oz Salmon diced
- 200g/7oz Pollock loin diced
- 1 onion
- 1 bay leaf
