The Olde Bell's kitchen is under the charge of Warren Geraghty as Executive Chef, Andrew West-Letford as Head Chef and Jason Farr as Pastry Chef, cooking simple, rustic, fantastic quality food which displays a generosity of spirit in both flavour and portions. Much time and effort has gone into sourcing and building relationships with local farmers and producers of the best ingredients, creating seasonal and constantly changing menus. Eating at the Inn
The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner while the bar serves food daily from noon until 10pm. The restaurant is open between 12.30pm and 2.30pm Monday to Saturday and 12pm to 4pm on Sundays for lunch and 6pm to 9.45pm Monday to Saturday for dinner. For weekdays only, feast on a special 2 course lunch for £12 per head. The Olde Bell's terrace is open all year round and from May to September dine off the weekend Summer Kitchen in the meadow garden, with an enormous rotisserie, a kamado oven and a grill cooking locally sourced meats and fishes all served with produce from the kitchen garden. Home-made picnics are also available for residents.
The Team
Warren Geraghty is The Olde Bell's Executive Chef. Most recently at the critically acclaimed restaurant West in Vancouver, Warren has worked at a string of fantastic restaurants, many with 1, 2 and 3 Michelin Stars including: Chez Nico, Pied à Terre, Restaurant Neat in Cannes and L'Escargot Marco Pierre White. Cooking food which is seasonal, local, and honest and with an additional passion for wild food and foraging, watch out for some interesting new dishes this winter. Next summer his vegetable patch (in the middle garden) aims to be providing 50% of The Olde Bell's fruit, herb and vegetable supply, making the use of the term 'local produce' never truer.
Andrew West-Letford joins The Olde Bell as the new head chef – complimenting Warren and Jason in their mission to create simple, well-cooked flavoursome dishes. Previously Head Chef at the Swan at Streatley Hotel, Andrew has worked at a number of fantastic restaurants, many local, including Head Chef at Danesfield House and Pastry Chef at the acclaimed, Michelin Star rated The Hand and Flowers.
The kitchen's final member of the team is Jason Farr – The Olde Bell's Pastry Chef. Jason has worked as a Pastry Chef at L'Escargot Marco Pierre White for four years followed by London's oldest restaurant 'Rules' where he mastered his style of modernising classic desserts
