5 Reasons to Choose the Olde Bell as Your Perfect Wedding Venue For 2017

For some (mainly the bride we are led to believe!) the task of researching, short listing and finally confirming  the perfect wedding venue is one that can take up considerable time. And why not? After all, a wedding is a couple’s chance to create a perfect day – where every aspect of the celebration has been carefully selected to reflect individuality.

From dresses to cakes, flowers to stationery and cars to photographer – we all know there is a HUGE amount that goes into planning a wedding. But without the perfect wedding venue…..Well, surely that must be the most important choice of all – the very foundation on which the whole celebration sits.

Call us biased if you will, but the Olde Bell has long been considered one of the UK’s most picture perfect wedding venues. Think walled gardens and summer meadows, roll top baths and romantic burgundy themes with candle light during crisp white winters. Every season offers a new opportunity to create the most memorable wedding. The place is simply magical.

So if you are planning to say “I do” in 2017 and looking for an unforgettable wedding venue in Berkshire, let us give you 5 reasons for why we believe the Olde Bell in Hurley is the right place for you.

The Malt House

The Malt House is an elegant Victorian building that sits adjacent to the main inn – affording guests privacy and exclusivity when hired as a wedding venue. With its own romantic walled garden and lawn, the Malt House is perfect for smaller weddings of between 40 and 55 guests. With 3 licensed ceremony rooms and complimentary bridal suite, there is enough flexibility within this building to create the wedding of yours dreams.  In pleasant weather, brides will have the opportunity to entertain guests on the lawn – perhaps with a champagne reception in the walled garden with canapés before retreating to the drawing room for a sumptuous wedding breakfast. Winter brides can take advantage of the roaring fire in the Music or Oak Room. Cosy, intimate and perfect spaces in which to toast the happy new couple. There are 13 bedrooms available within the Malt House and of course, extensive accommodation throughout the inn itself.

The Tithe Barn

This 16th Century Tithe Barn is unbelievably romantic and licensed for ceremonies. Original beams and rafters will create the perfect rustic backdrop for a larger wedding of up to 120 guests. Bridal parties are welcome to customise the Barn in whatever way they choose – be it a summer theme or winter wonderland. With separate private bar area and terrace garden, the Tithe Barn also has 5 bedrooms located in the courtyard.
